Kava is a root of a plant that has been popular and a large part of culture in South Pacific countries. Kava is used for its calming effects and stress reducing effects. Many people use it to calm their mood and reduce anxiety plus as a social drink in kava bar settings or parties.
Kava is FDA approved and is an excellent way to relax and unwind.
Kratom beverages
Kratom is a bit more controversial than kava in the nonalcoholic beverage space. While kratom is not yet FDA approved, it also provides similar effects as kava such as calming, social lubricant, and can be known to reduce anxiety. However, it also provides a mental boost and energy boost in different doses.
Mushroom beverages
Nonalcoholic mushroom beverages are also getting more popular in the nonalcoholic beverage space. The mushroom beverages can contain any type of mushrooms but the most popular type are lions mane, reishi, cordyceps, and chaga. Nonalcoholic mushroom beverages claim to increase mental acuity and overall wellness. They also provide antioxidants and support a healthy immune system.
Wellness sodas and electrolyte beverages
The wellness soda industry has absolutely exploded over the last 5 years as the consumer in the US has been clued in to how damaging ingredients in traditional soda pops really are.

Lumenade the botanical beverage co. fits into all categories. So far, we have our first line of beverages which is a kratom and electrolyte beverage, but we will be launching a kava beverage and an electrolyte only beverage here soon to give our Lumie fam a more diverse menu to choose from when selecting their favorite type of nonalcoholic beverage.
